search
The 'search' function allows you to quickly find libraries in a specific region, or specialised in a certain subject area.
The search is not case sensitive.
Special characters such as umlauts or accents must however be indicated: e.g. searching Genève will give results, but not Geneve. Bütschwil will be found, but neither Buetschwil nor Butschwil.
Truncation is automatic: a search for 'library' returns 'interlibrary loan' as well as 'library'.
Boolean operators
Boolean operator AND, OR and NOT. They can be used to expand (OR), to specify (AND) or to exclude terms (NOT) in a search.
Search examples:
music AND basle retrieves the 'Paul Sacher Foundation Library' at Basle.
agriculture NOT zurich retrieves the 'InfoAgrar' at Zollikofen.
